Omari Crawford focuses his practice on litigation. He handles a wide range of business disputes, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of civil litigation and appeals. 

A significant part of his practice is also dedicated to quasi-judicial advocacy. Drawing on his extensive legislative experience and deep understanding of public policy, Omari helps clients navigate the intersection of law and government.

Omari currently serves as the State Representative for Georgia’s 89th House District. The Center for Effective Lawmaking named him one of Georgia’s Top 10 Most Effective Lawmakers for his ability to navigate complex policy issues and deliver meaningful results.

He is a graduate of several competitive leadership programs, including the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s 2024–2025 LEAD Program, the 2022 New Leaders Council Fellowship, and Leadership DeKalb Class of 2021.

Outside of his legal and legislative work, Omari serves on the boards of the East Lake Family YMCA and the MTS Sickle Cell Foundation, Inc. He is also active in several civic and professional organizations, including 100 Black Men of DeKalb County, Inc., the DeKalb Lawyers Association, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia. A former Georgia High School Association Track and Field Champion, he mentors student-athletes in DeKalb County and regularly speaks at local academic events.

Omari earned his J.D. and M.B.A. from North Carolina Central University and holds a B.S. in Political Science and an M.P.A. from Florida A&M University (FAMU). There, he competed as a student-athlete on the track and field team and was named to the All-Academic Conference Team for three consecutive years. FAMU honored him as part of its 2024 “40 Under 40” class for his achievements and service.
